WHO WE ARE
Historic residence of the Cozza-Caposavi counts of Bolsena, over the centuries this palace has been an obligatory stop for those who, on the Via Francigena, crossed the Etruscan region of Tuscia.
Over the centuries, various members of European royal families and personalities from all sciences and arts have stayed there, including Prince Carlo Ludovico of Bourbon, Stendhal, Giovanni Verga, Guglielmo Marconi, Federico Fellini, two Popes and many still others.
Each of them has left traces of its passage in this residence, which still today maintains the tradition with the same family from 500 years old and now it is open to hospitality.

Located in the square in the historic center of Bolsena, 550 meters from the lake, the VesConte is a period residence located in the historic 16th century palace of the Counts Cozza Caposavi and over the centuries has hosted various members of the European royal families, two Popes, and among the most important writers and cinema characters passing through northern Lazio.

The double bedroom is the ideal solution for a couple. Among these are the rooms that hosted the most important personalities of the
'900 that have passed through the Palazzo. Emblematic is Stendhal's room where you can see his silhouette peeping out from behind the Roman ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, clearly "grand-tour" theme. In fact, the writer, on his travels in Italy, stayed in this room as the guest of his friend Count Giuseppe Cozza.
